WORKSHOPTWO PLANS

A plan is more
than its first action.

Use the same starting timber for both plans, then inspect the state after each action.

This is an invented two-action exercise. Insight is a reusable prerequisite, not a resource spent. Unaffordable or unavailable actions stop that plan.

Plan A

Plan B

Points and leftover timber measure different things. There is no assumed third action or hidden end-game conversion.

The complete fictional rule set

Gather adds two timber. Craft spends three timber for four points. Study spends one timber for two points and one insight. Bridge spends four timber for seven points and requires an insight already obtained; that insight is not consumed. There are exactly two actions, no opponent and no randomness.

Read a stopped plan honestly

If an action cannot be performed, the tool stops that plan at the stated action. It retains the state reached before the invalid action and does not claim a completed two-action result.

Compare the objective as well as the result

The default Plan A has more points; Plan B preserves more timber. The exercise deliberately gives no final conversion for spare timber. A different game or a longer horizon would need additional rules before those states could be ranked.
